Truck collision on Sejong-Pocheon Expressway leaves four injured

A truck collided with an SUV on the Sejong-Pocheon Expressway near the Pogok 1 Tunnel in Yongin on the morning of the 19th. The accident, involving a 3.5-ton truck driven by a person in their 60s, resulted in four injuries. Two women in their 40s and 50s, who were in the rear seats of the SUV, were transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest. Two other occupants, including the SUV driver, sustained serious injuries.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident, citing a potential failure to maintain proper forward attention by the truck driver. Traffic on the third lane was temporarily restricted but resumed after approximately 90 minutes.
