Truck driver mistaken for child during police stop in Brazil
Gabriel Allan Rodrigues, a 20-year-old truck driver from Mafra, recently went viral after being stopped by the Military Police in Jaraguá do Sul, Santa Catarina. Authorities approached his vehicle following reports that a child might be operating the heavy machinery.
Due to his height of approximately 1.60 meters, high-pitched voice, and youthful facial features, officers suspected a minor was behind the wheel. However, Rodrigues was cleared to continue his journey after presenting a valid driver's license (CNH).
The young driver noted that such confusion is a recurring issue in his professional life. He reported that people frequently mistake him for being between 10 and 16 years old, which has occasionally led to difficulties during bureaucratic processes or when attempting to access worksites.
