Truck manufacturers MAN and Ford showcase environmental service vehicles at Ecomondo

Major truck manufacturers are highlighting specialized vehicles for environmental and municipal services at the Ecomondo exhibition in Rimini.

MAN Truck & Bus Italia is debuting at the event with a focus on electrification, showcasing the MAN eTGS, a 100% electric vehicle equipped with a waste collection compactor. The company aims to strengthen its presence in urban hygiene and municipal applications by integrating electric vehicles with specialized equipment to meet changing operational needs in city centers.

Ford Trucks Italia is presenting the Ford Trucks 4145D, featuring a rear-loading Farid compactor. In collaboration with rental partner VRent, Ford Trucks is emphasizing an integrated service model that combines the vehicle and equipment with a support network of over 60 workshops to ensure operational continuity and minimize downtime for waste management operators.
