Truck overturns injure drivers on two Minas Gerais highways

Two separate truck accidents occurred in Minas Gerais, Brazil, on June 9. On the BR‑381 near Oliveira, a 60‑year‑old driver was trapped in the wreckage of a overturned truck and sustained a suspected leg fracture before being taken to a local emergency clinic.

Later that night, a Volvo truck carrying ceramic tiles overturning on the MG‑455 near Andradas injured a 31‑year‑old driver, who suffered a broken clavicle, head wound and blood loss, and a 17‑year‑old passenger who required treatment for a deep knee cut. Both drivers were rescued by fire‑department crews and transported to hospitals.

The accidents caused temporary lane closures but did not damage the cargo significantly.
