True Corporation deploys emergency WiFi and mobile stations in flooded Thai provinces
True Corporation is deploying emergency communication support in response to heavy rainfall and flash flooding in Thailand. In Nan Province, specifically within the Pua District, the company is installing free WiFi at evacuation centers and providing essential supplies to officials and victims. Field engineers are working to maintain mobile and home internet services at critical locations, including the Somdet Phra Yuparaj Pua Hospital, using backup power systems and mobile base stations (COW).
Additionally, the company has increased monitoring in five border districts of Tak Province. Rising water levels in the Moei River and local streams have begun impacting the Mae Sot Municipality area. True teams are coordinating with local authorities to ensure continuous connectivity for residents and emergency responders during the flood crisis.
