True Corporation launches ASTRA project to develop Thai space technology talent

True Corporation, through the True Innovation Center, has announced a strategic partnership with Mahanakorn University of Technology (MUT) and GalaxySpace to launch the ASTRA (Accelerated Space Technology, Research & Applications) project. The initiative aims to develop a new generation of Thai talent capable of integrating space technology, artificial intelligence, and communication systems.

The ASTRA project focuses on creating a ‘Space Talent Framework’ that bridges learning, research, and practical application. This framework covers several key areas, including space infrastructure, connectivity, intelligence, and applications to support the growing space economy.

In this collaboration, GalaxySpace provides expertise in satellite technology and space infrastructure. Mahanakorn University of Technology serves as the academic and engineering foundation for satellite and telecommunications research. True Innovation Center, in conjunction with the CP Center of Excellence, will integrate AI, digital technology, and business ecosystems to apply these advancements to real-world industrial challenges.
