True Hope Foundation donates ₹50 lakh for Nepal flood relief

The True Hope Foundation has donated ₹50 lakh to the Army Central Welfare Fund to assist victims of the recent devastating floods in Nepal. The funds are specifically intended to support serving soldiers, ex-servicemen, and their dependents of Nepali origin who have served in the Indian Army.

In addition to the monetary donation, the foundation provided ₹10 lakh worth of in-kind healthcare support, including a biochemistry machine and human analyser, to strengthen medical capabilities for affected communities. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Indian Army’s Sapta Shakti Command.

Lieutenant General Mohit Malhotra, GOC-in-C of the South Western Command, recognized the foundation’s contribution, noting that the support provides essential ex-gratia assistance to flood-affected personnel and families. In recognition of these humanitarian efforts, the Sapta Shakti Command presented the True Hope Foundation with an Appreciation Award and a Certificate of Appreciation.
