Truecaller completes $15 million acquisition of TextPlus

Truecaller has completed its acquisition of TextPlus, a US-based communications provider, for a cash- and debt-free valuation of $15 million. The deal involves the acquisition of 100% of TextPlus's outstanding shares.

Based in Los Angeles, TextPlus offers cloud-based voice, messaging, and connectivity services through a mobile platform that serves approximately 1.5 million monthly active users. The acquisition is intended to expand Truecaller’s footprint in the United States and evolve its service offerings. By integrating TextPlus’s technology, Truecaller aims to move toward a more comprehensive communications platform by adding capabilities such as internet-based (VoIP) calling and the provision of second phone numbers.

TextPlus will continue to operate as a separate brand and company, though it began being consolidated into Truecaller’s financial results as of September 9, 2026.
