Truecaller partners with LinkedIn to add professional context to Caller ID

Truecaller has announced a global partnership with LinkedIn to integrate professional identity and verification signals into its Caller ID service. This collaboration aims to provide users with richer context when receiving calls from unknown numbers, such as recruiters, suppliers, or clients.

Through this integration, callers can display verified professional details, including their job title and workplace, alongside their name and profile picture. Recipients will also have the ability to tap through to the caller’s LinkedIn profile to learn more about their professional background. Additionally, Truecaller is introducing a ‘Login with LinkedIn’ option to streamline the onboarding process for new users by pre-filling profile details.
