Trueno and Maria Becerra release “90s” music video filmed at UNLaM

Argentine artists Trueno and Maria Becerra have released a new music video for their collaborative track “90s,” a song from Trueno’s fourth studio album, “TURR4ZO.” The video, directed by Agustín Puente and Clemente Bruzzone, features a nostalgic aesthetic inspired by 1990s pop and hip-hop, utilizing black-and-white footage and vintage styling.

A notable aspect of the production is its filming location at the Universidad Nacional de La Matanza (UNLaM) in San Justo, Argentina. The use of the university campus has generated significant local interest and social media engagement.

The track, produced by Tatool and El Guincho, incorporates a sample of “Orbitando” by the 1980s Argentine new wave band Los Encargados, led by Daniel Melero. The album “TURR4ZO” is described as a tribute to Argentine musical traditions, utilizing samples from various iconic national artists to reinterpret local history through a hip-hop lens.
