Trueo to migrate prediction market platform to Ethereum mainnet

Prediction market platform Trueo has announced plans to migrate from the Base network to the Ethereum mainnet. The move is intended to leverage Ethereum’s network effects and global integrations to build a platform that is “widely adopted, broadly integrated, fully permissionless, mostly immutable, and highly credible.”

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin praised the project, describing the team as pursuing “interesting and meaningful things” and commending their focus on “decentralization, and being ethical and not corposlop.”

Trueo originally launched on Base in March 2025 to facilitate early experimentation while Ethereum gas costs were higher. The migration is not expected to interrupt trading on Base; however, the project has advised users not to create new markets on Base that expire after January 31, 2027. Instead, new markets should be established on the Ethereum mainnet once the version goes live.

Following the transition, Trueo aims to focus on increasing liquidity in major market categories and releasing an updated version of its oracle, which is designed to resolve market outcomes using evidence from various legitimate data sources.
