TrueRE Oriana Power sells 110 MWp solar portfolio to Actis

TrueRE Oriana Power has sold its 110 MWp commercial and industrial (C&I) solar portfolio to the private equity firm Actis for an enterprise value of INR 501 crore. As part of the transaction, TrueRE Oriana Power transferred its stakes in Truere Guj SPV Pvt Ltd and Truere Current Pvt Ltd to Actis.

This sale is a component of a larger proposed divestment of 238 MW of operational solar assets to Actis. The deal follows an existing partnership between the two companies aimed at the joint development of 1 GW of renewable energy assets.

TrueRE Oriana Power intends to use the unlocked capital to fund its next growth phase, focusing on reinvestment into a diversified portfolio that includes solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), green fuels, and emerging clean-energy infrastructure.
