Corporate earnings reports show AI gains and varying quarterly performances

Several companies released quarterly financial results. Doximity saw a significant stock surge following reports of high returns on its artificial intelligence investments. CEO Jeff Tangney noted that the company's AI Search product generates ten times more revenue per search than its operational cost, and noted that AI prompt volume rose over 25% quarter-on-quarter.

nLight reported quarterly earnings per share of $0.15, exceeding analyst expectations. The company's revenue reached $82.59 million, a 33.8% increase year-over-year, driven by strong demand in defense and laser sensing.
