Trump denies halting intelligence sharing with Ukraine

President Donald Trump has denied allegations that the United States has halted intelligence sharing with Ukraine. Responding to claims made by President Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump stated that the U.S. continues to provide support and is working with both Russia and Ukraine to reach a final resolution to the conflict.

Ukrainian officials expressed frustration after recent Russian ballistic missile attacks hit energy infrastructure, leaving approximately 600,000 people without electricity. Zelensky reported that Ukraine received no advance warning regarding these strikes. While some U.S. representatives attributed a failure in detection systems to bad weather, Ukrainian officials have expressed skepticism regarding this explanation.

Additional tensions have emerged regarding Starlink connectivity and pressure from the Trump administration for Ukraine to cease attacks on Russian oil refineries to stabilize global diesel prices. Furthermore, reports indicate that Russian strikes have targeted facilities operated by major American companies in Ukraine, including Coca-Cola and McDonald's, raising concerns about the safety of American interests and capital in the region.
