Trump and Saudi Crown Prince discuss US‑Iran negotiations and Strait of Hormuz security

Both officials highlighted the importance of securing the Strait of Hormuz, a vital oil‑shipping lane, and pledged continued coordination to maintain regional stability. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah also spoke with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the same issues, reaffirming the depth of Riyadh‑Washington cooperation. Qatar‑based mediators were reported to be in Tehran seeking to revive dialogue between the United States and Iran.
