Trump declares ‘Artificial Intelligence’ users ‘enemies’ of the White House
President Donald Trump has declared that the White House considers anyone who continues to use the term ‘Artificial Intelligence’ (AI) instead of ‘Super Intelligence’ (SI) to be ‘THE ENEMY!’ This follows an executive order signed on September 29, 2026, titled ‘Inaugurating the Era of Super Intelligence,’ which mandates that federal agencies adopt the new terminology in official communications, websites, reports, and public documents.
The administration justifies the rebranding by stating that the word ‘artificial’ implies something fake, whereas ‘Super Intelligence’ better conveys the true capabilities of the technology. While the order applies to the executive branch and does not legally mandate changes for private citizens or companies, several tech leaders have already signaled alignment. Elon Musk announced plans to rename his SpaceXAI division to SpaceXSI, and Meta has reportedly used the term in internal communications.
To coordinate government policy, the administration has established the Super Intelligence Force (SIF), with Jay Clayton serving as the National Intelligence Director and leader of the group. The rebranding effort has also seen the federal AI policy website, AI.gov, transition to SI.gov. Critics and experts have noted that the term ‘superintelligence’ already has a distinct technical meaning in research, referring to intelligence that surpasses human cognitive abilities.
