Trump merchandise store in Tennessee closes due to low sales

A large retail outlet in Tennessee that exclusively sells Donald Trump merchandise is closing due to a lack of customers. The store, located along Interstate 40 near Knoxville, is currently selling off its remaining inventory at a 50 percent discount.

Owner William 'Bill' Hays confirmed the closure is a result of declining business, disputing previous reports that the shutdown was due to retirement. Hays noted that while the business saw significant surges in activity following events such as the July 2024 assassination attempt on Trump, recent foot traffic has diminished. An employee corroborated the owner's account, stating that the shop is no longer busy.
