Trump Mobile raises T1 smartphone price to $749

Trump Mobile has increased the price of its T1 smartphone from $499 to $749, a 50 percent hike. The company updated the pricing on its website without a formal announcement, removing previous references to introductory or promotional pricing.

While the company has not officially stated the reason for the increase, industry analysts point to rising costs in the electronics sector, specifically the shortage of RAM chips driven by high demand for artificial intelligence components.

The hardware specifications remain unchanged despite the higher cost. The T1 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 50MP camera system.

Technical teardowns by iFixit have previously indicated that the T1 is not an independently developed American device, but rather a rebranded version of the HTC U24 Pro. Additionally, some reports have noted concerns regarding delivery delays and limited software update support for the device.
