Trump shifts stance on Yemen strikes as Iran warns of military response

Tensions in the Middle East have escalated following recent statements by Donald Trump and military warnings from Iran. In Yemen, Saudi Arabia has requested U.S. assistance to contain Ansar Allah forces, which have reportedly advanced toward the city of Najran. Separately, Iran's General Staff and the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters issued a warning in response to Trump’s speech at the United Nations. Trump had suggested that Iran must choose between reaching a deal or facing potential destruction. Iranian military officials responded by stating they are prepared to deliver “stronger, more crushing, and unpredictable” responses to any potential attacks from the United States or Israel. While Iranian military leadership emphasizes readiness for conflict, political figures like Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf have noted that diplomacy remains an option, provided it does not equate to surrender.
