Trump signs executive order rolling back childhood vaccine recommendations

An executive order signed by Donald Trump aims to dismantle federal protections and weaken public health infrastructure regarding childhood vaccinations. The order removes hepatitis B, flu, and COVID-19 vaccines from the recommended universal list.

Additionally, the order mandates breaking the combined measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine into three separate shots to be administered during different medical visits. Critics argue these changes replace established public health standards with individual negotiation and parental suspicion.
