Trump sons linked to $6B in military contracts and wedding expense repayment

Reports indicate that military contractors backed by Donald Trump’s sons have secured approximately $6 billion in active or promised U.S. government contracts since June 2025. This includes $1.8 billion paid to the military technology company Anduril, in which the venture capital firm 1789 Capital—partnered by Donald Trump Jr.—invested $2.5 billion. Analysis also shows companies like Unusual Machines and Powerus received Pentagon contracts shortly after the Trump brothers were listed as investors or advisers.

The Pentagon has denied any impropriety, stating that political connections play no role in funding decisions and that the department seeks solutions to benefit the warfighter.

Separately, Russian oligarch Umar Kremlev, who has close ties to Vladimir Putin, confirmed that Donald Trump Jr. has repaid him for expenses related to his wedding celebrations in the Bahamas. Kremlev, who reportedly covered hundreds of thousands of dollars in costs including private island rentals, stated that while the repayment occurred, he felt it was unnecessary.
