Apple and Nvidia lead major donor list for Trump White House ballroom

Internal documents obtained by The Washington Post have revealed the identities of major donors to President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom project. The fundraising effort has reportedly amassed approximately $333 million in private contributions.

Tech giants Apple and Nvidia are among the largest contributors, each pledging $25 million. Other significant donors include the Adelson family and Dish Network co-founder Charles Ergen, who have also committed $25 million each. Additional major contributions come from Google ($22 million), Microsoft ($10 million), and Palantir ($10 million).

The documents indicate that roughly half of the contributors have held federal government contracts or benefited from regulatory decisions and government actions during the current administration. This has led to scrutiny from lawmakers and experts regarding potential conflicts of interest.

While the White House has stated that the donations come from a wide array of American companies to improve the presidential residence, the President himself does not appear on the official list of donors, despite previous assertions that he would personally finance the project.
