Trumpet player returns to bridge in Åhus

A long-standing local tradition has returned to Åhus, Sweden. A trumpet player, who famously performed short solos on the Gamla Äspetbron bridge for a decade starting in 2010, was heard playing again on Tuesday, August 4.

The musician had been a notable presence in the community, often causing passersby to pause and reflect. Following an inquiry in the local media in 2019, the man was identified as a former resident of the area. After a period of silence spanning several years, his music has once again been heard on the bridge.
