Trumpf expands laser and tube cutting portfolio via Cutlite Penta acquisition

Trumpf has expanded its laser and tube cutting portfolio through the acquisition of the Italian company Cutlite Penta. This move is intended to enhance Trumpf’s offerings for customers requiring customized, large-format, and high-power laser cutting installations and tube cutting machinery.

Cutlite Penta will continue to operate as an independent brand, maintaining its own production, sales, and service facilities. The company specializes in customized large-format cutting systems, utilizing high-power lasers ranging from 30 to 60 kW. Through this partnership, Trumpf aims to strengthen its ability to cover the full spectrum of sheet metal processing while providing Cutlite customers with easier access to the Trumpf ecosystem.
