Truong Giang faces backlash over unfulfilled promise to fan

A controversy has resurfaced regarding Vietnamese actor Truong Giang and a promise made to a 20-year-old fan during a film tour for ‘Nha ba toi mot phong’. During the event, the fan shared her family's hardships, including her mother's long-term kidney dialysis and her father's medical issues, prompting Truong Giang to offer support and medical connections.

Recently, a TikTok account claiming to be the fan stated that she has received no assistance from the actor and continues to cover all family medical expenses independently. The fan also noted that edited clips of her story have circulated online, causing her significant distress and criticism. While some netizens have accused Truong Giang of failing to fulfill his word, a representative for the actor stated that the matter had been addressed during the Lunar New Year period.
