Truong Thanh Wood Industry Group faces new HOSE warning and heavy losses
The Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) has issued an additional warning for Truong Thanh Wood Industry Group (TTF) effective September 23, 2026. This new warning follows the company's failure to submit its reviewed 2026 semi-annual financial statements within the required 15-day grace period. The company has been under warning status since April 2022.
Financially, TTF reported significant struggles in the second quarter of 2026. Despite a 32% year-on-year increase in revenue to approximately 312 billion VND, high cost of goods sold and increased management expenses resulted in a negative gross profit. The company recorded a pre-tax loss of approximately 210 billion VND for Q2, making it one of the three largest pre-tax losses among listed companies on the exchange for that period. For the first half of 2026, cumulative losses reached approximately 270 billion VND.
On the stock market, TTF shares have experienced a sharp decline. As of September 17, the stock was trading at 1,440 VND per share, representing a roughly 44% decrease from its price of 2,570 VND in late March.
