Truong Trong Hieu departs for Mister Global 2026 in Thailand

Truong Trong Hieu, representing Vietnam, has departed for Thailand to compete in the Mister Global 2026 pageant. The competition, which features 40 contestants from various countries and territories, is scheduled to take place from September 29 to October 10.

Hieu, a 2001-born native of Lam Dong, traveled with approximately 70 kg of luggage, including competition attire. His national costume is being shipped separately. Before pursuing a professional modeling career, Hieu studied hospitality management in Taiwan, where he first discovered his passion for fashion after participating in Taiwan Fashion Week.

To prepare for the international stage, Hieu underwent a significant physical transformation, increasing his weight from 60 kg to 80 kg through dedicated training and a strict nutritional regimen focused on lean proteins. He expressed high confidence heading into the competition, stating his goal is to learn and advance deep into the final rounds.
