Truro City defeats Cirencester Town 4-0 in FA Cup

Truro City advanced in the FA Cup third qualifying round with a 4-0 victory over Cirencester Town. The win places the National League South side just one game away from reaching the First Round Proper for only the second time in their history.

Playing at the TCS in front of 1,638 spectators, Truro took an early lead in the eighth minute when Ben Starkie scored a 20-yard volley following a headed lay-off from Omar Bogle. Despite Cirencester Town hitting the crossbar via a strike from Henry Birkett, Truro maintained dominance. Tyler Harvey added a second goal in the 37th minute with a header from a Luke Jephcott free-kick.
