Truro Waterstones hosts immersive Sarah J. Maas book launch

Waterstones in Truro hosted a sold-out midnight launch for ‘A Court of Splintered Harmony’, the sixth installment in Sarah J. Maas’s bestselling ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ series. Approximately 170 fans attended the immersive event, which featured attendees in elaborate costumes.

The celebration included literary quizzes, potion bottle making, and themed decor designed to transform the store into the ‘Seven Courts of Prythian’. The event featured professional face painting, hand-drawn portraits, and live violin music. Bookseller Ronnie Turner described the launch as one of the most ambitious events in the store's history, noting it is the first midnight launch held at the location since the release of ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’.
