TRY Ramen Awards 2026-2027 announce winners

The 27th annual TRY Ramen Awards, a prestigious ranking for ramen shops in the Tokyo metropolitan area, have announced their winners for the 2026-2027 season.

In a rare occurrence, two establishments tied for the top TRY Grand Prize: ‘Chukasoba Shibata’ in Komae, Tokyo, recognized for its complex soy sauce blends, and ‘Sōsaku Men Kōbō Nakiryu’ in Toshima, Tokyo, noted for its highly rated tantanmen and soy sauce ramen.

The TRY New Store Award was presented to ‘Rustic Noodles’ in Noda, Chiba. Operated by a husband-and-wife team, the shop achieved significant success by also taking first place in the soy sauce, salt, and tsukemen categories within the new store division.
