Poland police arrest suspects in multiple crime operations

Polish law enforcement agencies have conducted several significant operations resulting in multiple arrests across the country.

In a major case, a 54-year-old man from Dąbrowa Górnicza was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBŚP) for allegedly planning to hire criminals to murder a judge, two police officers, his former wife, and a member of her family. The suspect reportedly sought revenge due to family court rulings and official police actions. He allegedly attempted to use a contact with ties to organized crime to facilitate the hits.

Other recent criminal activities include the dismantling of an organized crime group in Silesia responsible for property crimes and large-scale drug trafficking, causing an estimated 10 million PLN in losses. In a separate incident, a 44-year-old man was arrested in the Wołomin area for possession of nearly one kilogram of ketamine, a revolver, and ammunition.

Additionally, police in Krotoszyn seized over 177 grams of various narcotics from a 28-year-old Ukrainian national, while in Trzemeszno, two men were detained for a violent robbery involving a home invasion and physical assault.
