Mülheim retail revitalization as new supermarket opens in Schlosscenter

In Mülheim, entrepreneur Mehmet Demiröz is opening a new 'Zentrum-Markt' supermarket in the Schlosscenter shopping passage. The over 1,000 square meter facility aims to revitalize the area, which has faced significant vacancy following the closure of a Tedi retail store. This follows a similar expansion model Demiröz used last year in Ratingen to address declining retail interest.

Other regional updates include the upcoming TecGirls’Day in Schweinfurt on November 3, 2026, offering workshops in technology and natural sciences for female students.
