Tsatsaronakis Cultural Center continues community impact in Kissamos

The Tsatsaronakis Cultural Center of the Holy Metropolis of Kissamos and Selinos continues to serve as a vital hub for education and culture in Kissamos, fourteen years after its establishment.

Funded entirely by the Nikolaos Tsatsaronakis family in memory of Maria and Georgios Tsatsaronakis, the center was inaugurated on September 4, 2012, by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. The facility was designed to be an open space for knowledge, social support, and community engagement.

Currently, the center records approximately 370 regular participations in its various programs. These include music lessons at the conservatory with about 100 participants, various choirs involving 170 people, and specialized workshops. Activities range from traditional arts like icon painting and mosaic work to modern skills such as computer science, robotics, and chess.
