TSG 1899 Hoffenheim targets Europa League success and secures women's win

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim is preparing for its fifth appearance in international competition following a fifth-place finish last season. Sport Director Andreas Schicker stated that while the Bundesliga remains the club's daily priority, the team aims to advance through the Europa League knockout stages. The club's Europa League opponents include Olympique Lyon, Olympiakos Piraeus, Ferencvaros, RSC Anderlecht, Sturm Graz, OFI Crete, Besiktas Istanbul, and Crystal Palace.

In women's football, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim secured its first victory of the season with a 2-1 win against VfL Wolfsburg at the Dietmar-Hopp-Stadion. Chiara Hahn scored both goals for Hoffenheim in the 25th and 68th minutes, overcoming an equalizer from Wolfsburg's Anny Kerim-Lindland.
