Tsubasa Masuwaka releases lifestyle essay on personal growth

Model and television personality Tsubasa Masuwaka held a press conference in Tokyo to celebrate the publication of her first lifestyle essay, ‘Tsubasa Juku: 100 Mindsets to Turn Your Life Around’.

During the event, Masuwaka reflected on her personal growth, noting that her bluntness during her ‘gyaru’ era led to her being perceived as having a ‘bad attitude’ when she transitioned to television. She explained that she learned to use ‘thought conversion’ to navigate social interactions more positively, such as replacing the word ‘uncool’ with ‘unique’ to avoid causing offense.

The book, which took over a year to write, covers 100 items regarding self-production, relationships, career, and mental well-being. Masuwaka stated that the work is highly personal and aims to help readers, particularly those with low self-esteem, to focus on their own happiness and create a chain of positivity for those around them.
