Tsuruga Resort to host garden festival at Lake Toya

Tsuruga Resort Co., Ltd. has announced the “Hikari and Wind Garden Festival,” scheduled to take place on August 30, 2026, at the Toya Koh Tsuruga Resort Hikari no Uta in Hokkaido. The free event will be held at a special outdoor venue from 10:00 to 15:00.

The festival will feature live musical performances by local artists and groups, including the Sobetsu Junior High School brass band. Attendees can also participate in workshops, such as making Jomon magatama beads, and browse various food and retail booths from local cafes and shops.

Special culinary offerings will be provided by the resort’s chefs, including dishes made with local ingredients like Date-produced chicken and tomatoes. The event is open to both hotel guests and the general public, and pets are welcome provided they are kept on leashes.
