TSUZUMI Performs Live at Nagoya Moana Event Before Disney Film Release
Japanese singer‑actress TSUZUMI, the voice of Moana in the Japanese version of Disney’s upcoming live‑action film, appeared on July 13 at Hisaya‑odori Park in Nagoya. Dressed in a Moana‑inspired costume, she performed the movie’s theme song “How Far I’ll Go” live for a large crowd of fans as part of the “Moana Summer Event” promoting the film.
During the event TSUZUMI spoke about her long‑time love for the character, the audition that led to her casting, and the realistic ocean visuals of the new movie starring Catherine Lange and Dwayne Johnson. She thanked the audience for their support, highlighted the inspirational message of Moana, and reminded viewers that the live‑action version will open nationwide in Japan on July 31, 2026.
