FC Bayern Munich women extend unbeaten streak with win over Leverkusen

FC Bayern Munich women extended their unbeaten streak to 46 Bundesliga matches following a 3-2 comeback victory against Bayer Leverkusen. Despite dominating possession in the first half, Bayern trailed twice during the match.

Paulina Tomasiak scored twice for Leverkusen, including a deflected free kick in the 36th minute and a strike in the 52nd minute. Bayern responded with a header from Vanessa Gilles to equalize, but Leverkusen regained the lead shortly after.

Two late goals from substitutes secured the win for the Munich side. Edna Imade scored in the 68th minute, and Alara Sehitler netted the decisive winning goal in the 88th minute. With this result, Bayern remains in second place in the table, level on points with Wolfsburg.
