TSV 1860 Munich adds sons of Miroslav Klose and Phil Collins to squad

TSV 1860 Munich announced the signing of two high‑profile young players ahead of its first season back in the Regionalliga. Noah Klose, the 21‑year‑old son of former German international Miroslav Klose, agreed to a one‑year contract after progressing through the club’s U21 side and winning the Bayernliga Süd title. Klose is currently recovering from an injury but expects to return to the first team soon.

The club also confirmed that Mathew Collins, the son of pop‑star Phil Collins, is training with the squad and awaits international clearance. Born in Switzerland and holding British citizenship, Collins requires FIFA approval because neither of his nationalities is EU‑linked. He previously played for youth teams at Hannover 96, WSG Tirol and Austria Salzburg in the Austrian Regionalliga.

In addition, 30‑year‑old forward Michael Eberwein from Borussia Dortmund II signed a two‑year deal until 2028 to bring experience to the revamped squad. The signings come as the club rebuilds after a forced relegation and insolvency, with the new season starting on 1 August in an away fixture at Schweinfurt.
