T&T Group and Yusys Technologies partner for ASEAN fintech expansion
T&T Group and Chinese fintech firm Yusys Technologies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore strategic cooperation in fintech, digital transformation, and financial services. The partnership aims to establish a fintech joint venture to operate in Vietnam and key Southeast Asian markets.
The collaboration leverages the strengths of both organizations. T&T Group is expected to facilitate market access, manage local operations, and provide customer networks within Vietnam and the broader ASEAN region. Yusys Technologies will provide core technologies, standardized products, source code licensing, and research and development capabilities.
One primary focus of the partnership is to drive comprehensive digital transformation for SHB Bank, including upgrades to core banking systems, smart lending, and AI-driven solutions. Yusys Technologies, which was ranked 40th in the 2022 IDC FinTech Rankings Top 100, specializes in providing digital solutions and AI for financial institutions.
