T&T Supermarket to open large Markham location at CF Markville

T&T Supermarket has announced plans to open a new 68,000-square-foot location at CF Markville in Markham, Ontario. The new store will occupy the former Hudson’s Bay space and is expected to open in 2028. This expansion will involve the relocation of the current Unionville store, which has operated in the area for 14 years.

CEO Tina Lee stated that the larger facility will strengthen the company’s presence in the local market and provide more employment opportunities. The new location will feature expanded offerings, including fresh produce, prepared foods, a bakery, and an Asian beauty section. This will mark T&T’s 18th location in Ontario.

Separately, the Asian supermarket chain has expanded its footprint into the United States, recently opening its first California location at the Westgate Center. The chain continues to focus on a variety of prepared foods, including sushi, baked goods, and hot dishes.
