ttb bank launches ttb superior for Mass Affluent customers

ttb bank has launched ‘ttb superior’, a new financial service tier targeting the Mass Affluent (MAF) segment. The service is designed for customers with total assets of at least 1 million baht, aiming to help them transition from basic savings toward more advanced wealth management.

Thakorn Piyaphan, President of ttb, noted that the MAF group, characterized by assets between 1 and 5 million baht, plays a vital role in the Thai economy. Data indicates there are over 1.47 million such accounts in the commercial banking system, totaling approximately 2.95 trillion baht in assets under management (AUM). Currently, ttb serves about 600,000 customers in this segment with 280 billion baht in AUM.

The bank identified a significant gap in wealth management for this group, observing that 75% of their assets are held primarily in deposit accounts, with 60% sitting in low-yield accounts. By lowering the entry threshold to 1 million baht—compared to the industry standard of 2 million baht—ttb aims to provide digital investment tools, savings solutions, and lifestyle benefits to younger professionals, specifically targeting those aged 30 and above with monthly incomes exceeding 75,000 baht.
