TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen defeats TTC Schwalbe Bergneustadt

TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen secured a 3-2 victory against TTC Schwalbe Bergneustadt in their Table Tennis Bundesliga season opener. The match lasted over three and a half hours before Ochsenhausen clinched the win in the final doubles match.

Shunsuke Togami provided a strong start for Ochsenhausen with a 3-0 win against Adrien Rassenfosse. Although Bergneustadt took a 2-1 lead following performances by Benedikt Duda and Romain Ruiz, Togami leveled the score in a closely contested singles match against Duda.

Bergneustadt's Benedikt Duda described the match as an emotional rollercoaster, noting that despite a strong performance in the doubles, the team could not secure the win. The match also marked the debut of Cedric Meissner for Bergneustadt.
