Tuana Özkaya opens dental laboratory in Kahramanmaraş with KOSGEB support

Tuana Özkaya, a 22-year-old dental technician, has established a dental prosthesis laboratory in Kahramanmaraş using government support. After graduating from Hacettepe University's Dental Prosthesis Technology department, Özkaya applied for the Entrepreneurship Support Program provided by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Administration (KOSGEB).

Following the approval of her application, Özkaya received approximately 1.5 million Turkish Liras in support, which allowed her to procure essential equipment for her facility. Her laboratory produces porcelain teeth and total prostheses, serving contracted dentists in Kahramanmaraş and various other cities across Turkey. Özkaya stated that her goal is to expand her service area and become a successful technician recognized throughout the country while creating employment opportunities.
