Tubarão judokas win gold and bronze at regional championship

The Tubarão Judo Association (ATJ) secured one gold and one bronze medal at the Regional Litoral Judo Championship held in São Bento do Sul on August 7 and 8.

Deiner Enrique Zerpa Mejias earned the gold medal in the Sub-15, lightweight (-50 kg) Aspirantes category, which also qualified him for the Meeting Interestadual Interclubes. Ryan Deringer Machado secured a bronze medal in the Sub-13 Aspirante category (up to 35 kg).

Other participants from Tubarão placed within the top five of their respective categories, including Nicolas da Rocha Camilo, Matheus Henrique de Assis Veríssimo Júnior, and Raíssa Silva Purificação. Coaches Jaison Tavares and Rodrigo de Almeida noted that the results reflect the ongoing development and training progress of the team.
