Tuchola establishes ‘Tucholska Energia’ energy cooperative

The municipality of Tuchola is establishing an energy cooperative named ‘Tucholska Energia’ to enhance local energy security and reduce electricity costs. The project has received a grant of 48,790.00 PLN from the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Toruń, covering 70% of the eligible costs.

The cooperative will be formed by the Tuchola Municipality, the Tuchola Cultural Center, and the Municipal Enterprise in Tuchola. It aims to utilize and expand existing renewable energy infrastructure, such as photovoltaic panels, to stabilize and lower energy expenses for its members.
