Tuchola sports facilities undergo major renovations

The Sports and Recreation Center (OSiR) in Tuchola is undergoing significant infrastructure upgrades to its sports facilities. The project includes the modernization of a full-sized football pitch on Warszawska Street, which involves drainage improvements, surface leveling, and the replacement of artificial turf. The renovation also includes the construction of concrete walkways and new stands to improve spectator comfort, including seating for people with disabilities.

The football pitch project, costing approximately 2,066,400 PLN, is partially funded by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism through the Physical Culture Development Fund, covering 47.9% of the total expenditure. Additionally, work is underway to reconstruct a multi-functional sports field that previously served as two clay tennis courts, which will be converted into a multi-purpose facility with a new surface.
