Tucker Carlson calls U.S. political system a ‘fraud’

Conservative journalist Tucker Carlson has characterized the United States political system as a ‘fraud,’ alleging that the political establishment pits Americans against one another while failing to represent them. In an interview with Rick Sanchez, Carlson claimed that the Republican and Democratic parties engage in ‘collusion against the American people’ and that true power resides with a ‘permanent bureaucracy’ or ‘deep state’ rather than elected officials.

Carlson, who previously supported Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, has distanced himself from the Republican Party due to disagreements regarding U.S. policy toward Iran and Israel. He has ruled out a personal run for the presidency but has expressed a commitment to helping establish a third party to provide an alternative to what he described as a ‘one-party state posing as a democracy.’
