Tucker Carlson faces criticism over interview with Jacob Rees-Mogg

Tucker Carlson has faced intense criticism from various media figures following a controversial interview with former British Member of Parliament Jacob Rees-Mogg regarding the Russia-Ukraine war and historical perspectives on World War II.

Media commentators have reacted sharply to the exchange. Ben Shapiro of The Daily Wire described Carlson’s claims as “disgusting and also stupid,” accusing him of suggesting it would have been better if Hitler had won the war. Fox News host Mark Levin labeled Carlson a “traitor” and an “out of the closet antisemite.”

Other commentators, such as Konstantin Kisin, suggested Carlson is “ideologically captured,” while Steven Crowder characterized those who do not sufficiently condemn certain political actions as either “useful idiots” or acting malevolently. The controversy highlights growing divisions within conservative media circles regarding Western values and historical narratives.
