Tucker Kraft Returns to Packers Practice After ACL Recovery

The Green Bay Packers have activated tight end Tucker Kraft from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, allowing him to resume individual drills in training camp. Kraft, who missed the latter part of the 2025 season with a torn right ACL, received a clean bill of health from his doctor, who described his knee as “spectacular.” The team plans to integrate him gradually, aiming to have him ready for the season opener against the Minnesota Vikings.

Kraft’s return also revives contract discussions, as the Packers consider extending the player who posted 15.3 yards per reception and six touchdowns in eight games before his injury. Negotiations involve contract negotiator Russ Ball and general manager Brian Gutekunst, while Kraft says he will advocate for his own value. His presence is viewed as a key offensive weapon for quarterback Jordan Love under head coach Matt LaFleur.
